A bit about the role

To support in the production of precise and consistent copy for online product, to enhance the unique Selfridges experience, which is in line with fulfilling Selfridges’ brand values and business objectives.

Support the Copy Manager to ensure a consistent tone of voice across the business, ensuring all communications are brand-enhancing and consumer-focused.

 

This role will suit someone who has a real interest in the power of words and who wants to work on a varied range of projects, from lifestyle and fashion to childrenswear, home, food and technology.

A meticulous eye for detail and a strong understanding of grammar and punctuation are necessities, along with an ability to manage a heavy workload. The nature of the role involves working closely with various stakeholders across the business, so a confident, approachable and considerate character is an essential. This exciting role is a unique opportunity for someone wishing to pursue a career in copywriting.

A bit about you

Experience in a journalism/copywriting/content role (may include relevant internships)

 

Educated to degree level or equivalent in a communications-related discipline.

 

Microsoft word, Powerpoint.

 

Digital/Online knowledge.

 

Knowledge of print production process.
