A bit about the role

As Digital Selling Consultant you will acquire and contact customers via digital outreach. You will focus on delivering a distinctly Selfridges & extraordinary personal shopping experience digitally to build and maintain client relationships both domestically and internationally. ​

As Digital Selling Consultant you will:​

  • Confident application users. Skilled / assured using social media / technology, in particular ‘WeChat’ as a main form of communication and interacting with clients​

  • Focused only on online selling. Using your understanding and experience of the various touch points in the online customer journey to elevate the overall customer experience to reflect a luxury Personal shopping experience. ​

  • Profile customers based on their individual shopping patterns​

  • Use customer profiles to provide personal recommendations, demonstrating detailed product knowledge and an understanding of each client's style and requirements​

  • Use events and partnerships to build client relationships​

  • Spot opportunities to improve business, customer service and retail standards. Implementing new and creative selling ideas​

  • Achieve individual sales targets​

  • Develop customer loyalty by catering to individual customer needs. Resulting in both higher customer satisfaction and increased spend ​

  • Work confidently and collaboratively with various departments, from the wider personal shopping team, various departments and divisions, to Fashion Workroom, you strive to deliver exceptional service and standards

How you’ll do it…you will be:​

  • Known to be a sales and service expert​

  • Experienced in delivering in working within a sales driven environment with targets​

  • Fashion and product focused, understanding current fashion trends cultural behaviours and trends.​

  • Collaborative. Supporting the wider Personal Shopping team, you will help to deliver exceptional service to our customers seeking a unique experience​

  • A keen eye for detail. You notice even the smallest details to ensure an excellent experience and luxury environment for our customers​

  • Well informed. You are aware of store events, services and launches that may appeal to the Personal Shopping clients​

  • A great communicator. You will adapt your style and service to suit customer needs and preference. Genuinely connecting with your customers while guiding them on the services and support that best suit their needs​

  • An example of our values, a trusted and respected colleague​

  • Obtain, retain and acquire clients. You will understand the lifetime value of every client. ​
