Job Introduction
It's an exciting year here at Selfridges Trafford, especially for our beauty department. We are re-vamping to whole look and feel of it, and introducing some very exciting new brands at the same time. As a result, we have created a number of brand new roles.
A bit about the role
The Selfridges Beauty Workshop isn’t just home to the newest trends in hair, beauty and skin care, it’s also a one-stop-shop for a range of unique beauty services and products.
Working as part of our Trafford Beauty Workshop team, you'll make everyone feel welcome by building a culture of learning and development, exciting and motivating the team to deliver exceptional brand and product knowledge.
You'll drive the Selfridges service proposition of making, telling and sharing stories, ensuring world class service by taking ownership of seamless customer interactions and shop floor operations, and initiating improvements whenever possible.
You'll receive and track customer service and experience measures and deliver training and interactive team briefs to up-skill on service and selling.
The Training & Service Manager will also support the Department Manager with a training needs analysis, working with the brands and L&D team to support individual development.
You'll manage brand training initiatives and product allocation, utilising the gifting and hospitality register.

Extremely organised and a real people-person, you’ll have a wealth of experience in a retail environment, with a passion for beauty products and the ability to meet sales and service measures. You'll look for ways to motivate and lead your team, thinking creatively to drive them to deliver an extraordinary shopping experience.
