Job Introduction

This role will support the Senior Casting Manager in delivering an aspirational model strategy as part of Selfridges creative direction across all creative imagery content. There will be a high volume of womens and mens castings for the E-commerce Photostudio to continuously evolve and maintain a regular model board for International models who are in and out of London. You will also need to support the Creative Production team in casting models and talent for creative Digital content seen on home page, editorial, etc.

You will need to be experienced in managing relationships with Global modelling agencies, particularly building relationships with mother agencies and be highly confident in negotiating competitive day rates and usage buy outs.

A bit about the role

  • Direct line manager of a Castings Coordinator, mentoring and developing their skills along with performance management.
  • Conduct weekly model castings across main board and new faces to update and maintain womens and mens model boards accordingly to creative direction.
  • Present weekly model presentations to Director of Digital Fashion for new model sign offs.
  • Cast models according to budget for the E-commerce Photostudio, driving competitive day rates and strategic longer term bookings with top Global models.
  • Collaborate with Fashion Production teams to book models for next day shoots, according to daily brand scheduling, in a fast paced and extremely reactive Photographic studio environment.
  • Collaborate with Creative Production teams for model and talent bookings for Digital content.
  • Track E-commerce model productivity and feedback to agents any challenges faced on set.
  • Maintain a professional and productive attitude living by the company values.
