Job Introduction

With exclusive luxury goods and world-class customer service, Selfridges delivers an experience that’s second to none. But nothing would be possible without those working behind the scenes. Keeping invoices in order and building strong relationships with suppliers, you’ll reinforce our reputation

A bit about the role

As part of our Accounts Processing team in Leicester, it’ll be down to you to process all of our supplier invoices, keeping track of every transaction and logging every detail into the system. That means matching invoices to the relevant receipts and sorting out any issues that may be flagged up. It could be that a purchase order has been received but there’s no invoice, or perhaps there’s an invoice but no purchase order. Either way, you’ll make every effort to manage supplier expectations while at the same time maintaining complete accuracy of the accounts. In order to make the process as efficient as possible, you will be liaising with colleagues in London to ensure that an exceptional level of service is provided for suppliers and colleagues in store alike.

A bit about you

Ability to organise and prioritise your workload is vital. With strong numeracy skills and a GCSE (or equivalent) in Maths and English, you’ll have no problem dealing with a large volume of invoices. Success will come from your flair for detail, as well as your ability to prioritise and manage your own workload. And although we’ll give you all the training you need, basic computer skills are essential. But more than that, you’ll have a great work ethic and really enjoy teamwork.
