A bit about the role

As a Retail Operations Analyst you’ll share your knowledge through unique Selfridges stories, You’ll promote the reporting and awareness of accurate reporting throughout the retail team. You’ll be involved in carrying out detailed fact finding, system interrogation and investigation into expense to ensure business reporting is accurate. Using your passion for what you do, you’ll work confidently with key business functions to deliver exceptional service and execute accurate management information and reporting controls. You’ll present financial data clearly and concisely to all levels, in addition to supporting with the development of new systems to benefit retail operations. You will use your natural curiosity to stay ahead of the latest industry trends by taking every opportunity to expand your knowledge.

You’ll have genuine passion for analysis of trends, an ability to interpret complex data systems, to access multiple sources of information and intelligence, with a recognised high level of attention to detail with a natural curiosity to discover and explore more about Retail Operations to share with others. Bringing your personality to the service experience you will always look to genuinely connect with your customers while thinking creatively to bring your ideas to life.

As well as having the ability to work well as part of a team, you’ll be willing to embrace opportunities to build your skills in order to offer quality and reassurance to all of our internal and external customers and maintain solid awareness of everything from pre-empting requests through an awareness of the data you’ll be dealing with to a tenacity for ensuring all avenues and lines of investigation are fully exhausted, especially in challenging situations. You’ll need to demonstrate a confident and methodical approach, and demonstrate the Selfridges values in all that you do. You’ll have at least 2 years of experience in an analytical role and a diploma or similar qualification would be an advantage.
