A bit about the role

We are looking for someone to join our fabulous events team on a temporary basis for Christmas.  This would be a 3 month contract.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY

Supports Senior Events Manager – Brand Projects implement the delivery of a creative, innovative and extraordinary programme of “Fame”* category events and special projects across the business, ensuring Selfridges is a market leader.

Supports Senior Events Manager – Brand Projects to deliver “Fame” category events and special projects which support the Marketing Strategy that is to plan, on budget and deliver the event / project marketing objective.

 

  • Facilitate and support a programme of events and special projects that surprise, amaze and amuse our customers.
  • Budget support and reconciliation
  • Communication of projects, preparing marketing one pagers and post event reports.
  • Communicate effectively across the business.
  • Develop and maintain a robust network of strong working relationships across the business and externally including partners and suppliers.
  • Follow Events process, critical path and allocated budget.
  • Ensure Health and Safety is always considered in every Event.
  • Red flags any potential issues.
