Supporting the CRM team, the role will design and develop a wide variety of email communications for the Selfridges customer. Emails will incorporate brand, marketing, seasonal campaigns, store news and BAU messaging.

A bit about the role

Based in our Wigmore Street offices you’ll provide a unique and tailored service in CRM to customers internally and externally, going beyond the ordinary to create moments that cannot be experienced elsewhere. Our customers expect extraordinary service delivered by people with a genuine passion for what they do and to share their unparalleled level of knowledge whilst taking enormous pride in maintaining our exceptionally high standards.

Working with our wider Customer Marketing and Insights team you’ll share your knowledge through unique Selfridges stories. You will use your natural curiosity to stay ahead of the latest industry trends by taking every opportunity to expand your knowledge.

Key Responsibilities for this role include:

  • Fully support the CRM team, designing and building email campaigns that meet the brief’s requirements and deadlines
  • Work closely with the broader Multimedia team to ensure creative output is aligned
  • Ensure all campaigns are optimised for all browsers and devices
  • Source additional imagery and assets where content is not readily available
  • Provide forward thinking ideas and concepts to innovate and evolve marketing campaigns
  • Work with Senior CRM Manager to identify creative A/B testing opportunities
  • Ensure best practises are adopted for all email campaign output

Desired skills:

  • Highly skilled CRM designer with a minimum of two years’ experience in a creative agency or in-house design team
  • Experience in small and large-scale projects
  • Experience in creative and testing strategies
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite tools
  • Strong conceptual thinking
  • Must have experience with automating emails through the object-oriented programming languages (preferably AMPScript)
  • Salesforce experience desired but not essential
  • Ability to prioritise and multitask in a fast paced environment
  • Awareness of contemporary digital design whilst maintaining brand guidelines
