A bit about the role

As the Social Media Assistant, You will be the ‘administrative backbone’ of the Social Team at Selfridges, assisting the Social Coordinators and reporting to the Social Media Manager.

The Social Media Assistant will have a passion for social media, have strong administration skills and experience in retail.

As the Social Media Assistant, You will,

• Create weekly Trade Slides 

• Support the team with activations and projects for brand social media launches

• Ability to source assets in-house and externally 

• Organise the social media calendar along with the copy doc and schedule posts 

• Brainstorming social campaigns 

• Raise invoices and PO’s

• Assist with expenses

• Organise the team’s budget tracker 

• Assist with social media raffles and competitions

A bit about you

How you’ll do it…you will have

• Experience using all social media platforms (IG, FB, TW, YouTube, Pinterest, Tik Tok)

• Experience using Microsoft applications: Office, Teams, Excel

• Experience in Copywriting 

• Experience with using Photoshop and Premier Pro

• Excellent communication skills
